At the top of the menu there is a box that says Label. Select a button, and then click Properties on the right hand menu. Once you have all of your symbols selected, you can edit the labels for your buttons. When the dialog box pops up, just hit “replace” and the old image will disappear.
If you change your mind as to which symbol you want in a button, no problem! Drag and drop the new symbol right on top of it. Sometimes you may need to search for an entirely different keyword to find an image that you want for your board. This way, nobody will think that they should take their shoes off in the middle of class because the board is showing them an image of bare feet. I can go back afterwards and change the label to say feet. I selected the photo labeled “feet down” this image indicates a person sitting in a chair with shoes on, and an arrow indicating their feet. There are a lot of pictures of bare feet. For example, when I searched “feet” every image with the word “feet” in the label comes up. Sometimes you may have to get creative, or think about what kind of images you pick to represent different things.

This board is full of images, the button labels have not been edited. Simply repeat this action for each button until you have a board full of images! It will size itself to fit inside the button, and comes with a label on the bottom of the picture. When you find a symbol that you like, drag and drop it into your button. You can now search for just about anything in the search bar. When it is selected, navigate to the right hand menu and click Symbols. Now you are ready to start adding symbols!
